The Panasonic TZ6 has Intelligent Auto that empowers the user and makes it easy and fun to use. In IA mode, the camera does the work, activating AF tracking, Intelligent Exposure, Face Detection, Intelligent Scene Selector, Mega Optical Image Stabilizer, and Intelligent ISO Control. AF Tracking allows the user to lock the focus on a moving target; the camera will then track the target in focus, freeing the user to shoot an anticipated action when it happens.

Intelligent Exposure compensates for dark images by automatically adjusting the brightness. It also features automatic backlight compensation for images shot against bright sources of light.

Face Detection, combined with AF Tracking, will help you to capture expressions on faces - just right for those candid moments! Flash fill in will control red-eye too.

Intelligent Scene Selector automatically selects the most appropriate choice from five scene modes - Macro, Portrait, Scenery, Night Portrait, and Night Scenery.

At a setting of up to ISO 6400, the Panasonic DMC-TZ6 can capture subjects in near-darkness without a flash.

The Panasonic TZ6 takes a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery and saves JPEG images to SD/SDHC cards. All Lumix cameras take photos with a resolution suitable for display on a wide-screen (16:9) HDTV.
